M2 resurfacing project


Stage 2 of the Hills M2 resurfacing works commenced in April, 2010. The motorway resurfacing will deliver a smoother driving experience for motorists. In areas where the road surface has degraded, resurfacing is essential to maintain high standards of safety for motorway users.

Work zones will include entry and exit ramps, merge lanes, bus lanes, and sections of the main carriageway, and will take place at night to minimise disruption to traffic.

Where the work is occurring

The work will require changed traffic conditions for night works along the main carriageway and at the following entry and exit ramps: Should any ramp closures be required, this information would be advertised ahead of time.
